This classic cake which is named after Queen Victoria is a tradition for the British and Irish. And what other way to celebrate the tradition than with slices of fresh fruits and a spiral pink buttercream? This strawberry and cream sponge cake makes a really lovely engagement/wedding cake too if we say so ourselves.
